Summer at Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain comes with just the right temperature, fresh mountain air, and a slower pace of life.

The logo originates from the blessing marks made by the fingers of Buddhist monks on auspicious occasions in Thailand. The three primary senses of sight, sound, touch are positioned at the base of the pyramid. The second tier represents the harmony of taste and smell. The apex represents the sixth sense - intuition.

Sight
Direct views of Qingcheng Mountain upon arrival. Green, lush landscapes with mist drifting through after rain.

Sound
Leaves moving in the wind, flowing water, birdsong, and the calming sound of bamboo during wellness experiences.

Touch
Soft natural linens, wooden floors under bare feet, and Tai Chi on the grass, feeling grounded and connected to the earth.

Taste
Seasonal ingredients from our own farm, grown with compost made from kitchen waste, and served across our restaurants through a farm-to-fork approach.

Smell
Air rich in negative ions, summer scents from plants and fruit trees, and the aroma of local tea around The Square.

Intuition
When it takes over, it brings us full circle, leaving us open to reconnect with the world, nature, others, and ourselves.

Fun & Quirky culture activities at Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain.

Every day brings different activities for all ages. At the birthplace of Taoism, mornings begin with Tai Chi led by a local master. Slow movements and yin and yang balance help you reconnect with your body and nature. Or join a round of Sichuan Mahjong, a local pastime that has been part of everyday life here for generations.

Hands-on workshops inspired by local plants are also part of the experience. Make your own herbal compress ball, traditionally used to release tension. Or create handmade incense using osmanthus picked inside the resort, and take home the smell as a memory. There’s also soap making with soapberry, a natural plant known for its gentle cleansing properties.

If you’re curious about cultural heritage, try bamboo weaving, dough sculpture, or tea dyeing classes. Local artisans guide each session while sharing the stories and traditions behind these heritage skills.

More activities include paper making, calligraphy copying, Chinese snacks cooking, and seasonal experiences to explore.
