Energy doesn’t lie.

And it surprises me more and more to realize that, even when I myself am not fully present in the decisions I’ve already made, my energy is — honest, radical, giving me answers.
It’s the energy that confirms the hunches. The one from when you draw an oracle card and the message reaches you like a dart to the heart. The one in a pendulum’s answer to a question whose answer you already know, but don’t want to accept as your truth.
Energy doesn’t lie when you’re with a person or in a place where you don’t feel expanded. And it’s just as honest when you’re where you feel at ease, where you can be yourself, move and express freely.
Our energetic field can tell us more stories than we imagine. Stories of who we are, of the way we feel, of how our life expresses itself in this human passage.
Remember: energy doesn’t lie. It’s one of those spaces we can turn to when we want honest answers — brutally honest ones — for our path 🌿

Somos materia.

————————-

We are matter. And matter is also energy.

Our bodies are made of water, electrical impulses, movement, and constant exchange.

Perhaps that’s why I find it so fascinating to think that what seems intangible —a word, a sound, an intention, a presence— can also meet us and leave an imprint.

There is much about energy that we can measure, and much that we are still trying to understand.

For me, remembering myself as energy is an invitation to live with greater awareness: to recognize that I am in constant relationship with what surrounds me, and that each day I can choose, a little more consciously, what I want to tune into.

Your energy is also a form of intelligence. And learning to feel it is remembering a capacity that has always been within you.

----------------------------

It's said that, in the mid-19th century, a Japanese teacher named Mikao Usui asked himself a question that would change his life: how did Buddha and Jesus heal through the mere laying-on of hands?

That question led him to leave everything behind and set out on a long search. He studied the Buddhist teachings, learned Sanskrit to read the ancient texts in their original language, and searched among the ancestral wisdom of the East.

He found descriptions, symbols, fragments… but something was still missing: the knowledge was there, yet not the power to heal.

So he withdrew to meditate and fast for twenty-one days on Mount Kuruma (鞍馬). And it's said that there, in the silence, he received what he had been searching for: the energy revealed itself, and with it the ability to channel it through his hands.

What we now call Reiki was born.

Since then, this wisdom has been passed from teacher to student, to place it in service of humanity 🌿

---------------------------

There's a concept in Buddhism I love: impermanence.

Impermanence tells us the whole universe is in constant change, and that nothing lasts forever. It reminds us pain arises when we try to hold on to what, by nature, changes or ends. And that accepting that flow helps us release attachment and live the present more fully.

Connecting with the present, and with the transience of everything, fills me with peace again. Because I remember that even the hard moments —and the good ones too— will pass.

Impermanence helps me accept what is and be at peace with it. To release the past, and the future too. To build from my present, and leave the outcome to the universe.

It reminds me that I too am mortal — that, even when it seems I have all the time in the world, death is also part of life.

So when you find yourself fighting against change, remember that it's natural, that it's part of life. Change refreshes, makes space, organizes, aligns. It fills us with possibilities that didn't exist before.

Ride the wave, and surf it as well as you can.

Nadie me dio esas etiquetas.

———————

No one gave me those labels. I gave them to myself.

It wasn’t ill intent, but something quieter: I looked at myself through the lens of self-demand and self-criticism. Everything I felt was a sign something was wrong, and naming it, I chose the harshest name.

In time I understood two things.

You can’t self-therapize. Reality depends on who observes it, and when we look at ourselves harshly, we see ourselves distorted. The same lens that demanded so much of me was the one diagnosing me.

A real diagnosis of anxiety, depression, or any mental health condition can only come from a professional. These are serious conditions that deserve care — not a label you pin on yourself on a hard day.

Sometimes we look at life through glasses that aren’t ours: someone lent them to us, and we grew up believing that was reality. But they’re only glasses — a way of treating ourselves we learned, and that today we can slowly set down.

Eight things about me, about how I accompany.

Not from a pedestal, but from my own process. Not with recipes, but with the certainty that each body has its own map. And always with one north: that you don't depend on my judgment, but recover your own.

If any of this resonates, maybe it's your body recognizing itself.
I'll read you in the comments 🌿

Since 2021, when Consentir was born, I’ve been dreaming of this moment.

Today we take a step into the digital world — starting with one of the topics I love most: skin care.

This ebook is for you if you feel curious about how your skin really works, and if you want to support it from within, not just from the outside.

Remember: your skin is a reflection of your inner world.

Me encanta cuidar mi piel.

I like to think that I can bring beauty into the world through what I do.

Not only through how I look, but also through words, videos, books and the things I create.

I love caring for my skin. I love nurturing it, giving it luminosity and feeling beautiful.
But rather than pursuing perfection, I want my rituals of care to build a memory in my body of the love and respect I owe myself.

Perhaps that's part of why Don't put anything on your skin you couldn't eat came to life.

Not from rejecting products or the desire to look beautiful, but from a different question:

From what place am I caring for myself?

The guide is available through the link in my profile 🌿

-----------------------

With so many routines, ingredients and products we're told we need, it's easy to hand our own discernment over to someone else.

I'm interested in coming back to the opposite: learning, observing, and choosing for myself.

Maybe care can begin there too. 🌿

————————🇬🇧

This shift in perspective was born from a simple place: observation, sustained over time.

From paying attention to how I felt after a bad night's sleep, after eating something my body didn't agree with, after a stressful season that showed up on my skin before anywhere else.

That's the thread running through the whole guide: not another routine, but a different way of looking at yourself — and of understanding the conversation between your skin and what you live within.

Inside you'll find exactly that: how to read what you give your skin, how to nourish it from within, and what it's showing you about you.
