What a beautiful way to start the day… ❤️🐝🍯

A morning at the B’ALMOND BEE CO. forest apiary, checking the colonies and bringing in these beautiful, honey-filled frames.

There’s something very special about seeing the journey from the hive, exactly as nature intended… and the next part is one of our favourites. ✨

Extraction Day is coming very soon. 🍯
We’ll be sharing the whole process — from these frames to the first golden honey flowing from the extractor.

You can follow the story here at B’ALMOND BEE CO., and also through The Almond Holiday Village website & page.

If you love bees, nature and real Cyprus honey, you may want to keep an eye on what’s coming next… 🐝💛

From our bees. From our land. From the hive to the jar.

A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO THE NORTH CYPRUS BEEKEEPERS’ ASSOCIATION 🐝💛

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our Association President, Serhat Kara, and every member of the Board of the North Cyprus Beekeepers’ Association for their continued dedication and support to our beekeeping community.

Today, despite all the challenges and difficult circumstances, you once again stood by our beekeepers by securing the essential treatments we need in our fight against Varroa — one of the greatest threats to the health of our honey bee colonies.

But our thanks are not only for today.

From hive support and bee feed to queen bee assistance, and in so many other areas of beekeeping, your efforts to support our beekeepers and strengthen the future of our sector have been invaluable.

Beekeeping is never an easy journey. We face drought, changing weather conditions, disease, rising costs and countless other challenges. Knowing that we have an Association working hard to represent us, find solutions and stand behind our beekeepers makes a real difference.

Those who work, persevere, knock on doors and make sure the voice of the beekeeper is heard deserve our recognition and thanks.

To Serhat Kara and every member of the Board, thank you sincerely for your hard work, commitment and contribution to beekeeping in North Cyprus.

🐝 Supporting our bees means supporting nature — and protecting our future.

We are grateful to have you. Thank you for everything you do. 🐝🌿

🌲🍯 From Our Forest Apiary…
Hidden deep within the peaceful pine forests of Cyprus, our bees have been hard at work, collecting nectar from the island's wild summer blossoms.
Our second honey harvest is almost here, and we couldn't be more excited! Every jar is harvested with care, unheated, minimally filtered, and packed with the unique flavours of the forest.
Nature takes its time—and so do our bees. 🐝
Thank you to everyone who supports our small apiary and helps us protect these incredible pollinators. We can't wait to share this season's harvest with you.
🍯 Coming soon… our second harvest of the year!

🍯🐝 Exciting News from B'Almond Bee Co. 🐝🍯
Our first honey harvest of the season is now complete, and our delicious local honey will soon be jarred and ready to enjoy! 🍯✨
This year has brought an exceptionally busy swarming season. While this is wonderful news for increasing local bee populations and strengthening our environment, it has also resulted in a smaller honey harvest than anticipated.
As a token of our appreciation, our valued hive sponsors will be given first priority access to this season's honey before any remaining stock is released for public sale.
Please note that all B'Almond Bee Co. products, including honey and other bee products, will be available exclusively from The Almond reception.
Thank you for supporting local beekeepers, sustainable beekeeping practices, and the vital work of our precious pollinators. Together, we are helping bees thrive and securing a sweeter future for all. 💛🐝🌼

🐝👑 A Promising Day in the Queen Yard 👑🐝
Today we opened up our queen mating nucs to see how our young queens are progressing — and what a rewarding inspection it was!
These tiny colonies are home to the future mothers of our apiary. After successfully completing their mating flights, the queens return to begin the important task of laying the eggs that will become the next generation of honey bees.
There is always a sense of anticipation when opening a mating nuc. Will the queen have returned safely? Has she started laying? Is the colony developing as hoped?
We're delighted to report that several of our young queens are performing beautifully, with healthy brood patterns and dedicated workers already caring for the colony's future.
Moments like these remind us that every thriving hive begins with a single queen and a small team of hardworking bees. Queen rearing requires patience, careful management, and a little help from Mother Nature, but seeing these young queens succeed makes it all worthwhile.
At B'Almond Bee Co., we remain committed to raising strong, locally adapted queens that support healthy colonies, sustainable beekeeping, and pollination across Cyprus. 🌸🍯
The future is looking bright — one queen at a time. 🐝💛
