CRYSTAL CLEANSING INSTRUCTIONS (FOR CHAKRA SET/STONES/TUMBLED STONES AND ROUGH/ TOUCH STONES AND PALM STONES AND PENDANTS.
Crystals cleansing is recommended when they are acquired or bought for the first time and after using them or wearing them for a long time or until we feel that their energy changes or is heavier(ESPECIALLY PENDANTS).
There are several ways of cleansing Crystals and Gems. We will state the ones that according to the teachings we gos, our opinion and experience are the most effective and functional but also historical evidence was found about them.
1. When we receive them as gifts or buy them it is best that we do our own cleansing even if they come from a person that already has done some cleansing.
2. Each time and before we use them we charge and programme them with our own intentions/wishes.

So when we receive them for the first time, we put the crystals in a glass container and cover them with sage leaves or with a herbal combination of sage, chamomile and basil.
After using them, we can :
-wash them with sage water or spray them
- immense them again in a pile of dried herbs (sage etc)
 Again we must outline that Crystals with a lower scale of hardness may be easily destroyed or worn with salt water or herb water, their colour may change also. So using dry herbs) is preferable if we are not sure whether or not our crystals are hard or soft. A Quick wash and drying them is also recommended.
 –if crystals or minerals are washed very often- they may be worn/destroyed.

Once cleansed, our crystals are charged (especially before usage), under the sunlight (new ones up to 3 days). To avoid destroying them or changing their colour it is better if we do not put them under direct sunlight for long time or covering them with a linen fabric or just somewhere where sun light reaches them indirectly.

We programme and energize our crystals before using them or wearing them. This way we connect with them. We energize / programme them by holding them between our hand palms, during meditation or just by saying a prayer and by putting our intention for the purpose we are going to use them . For Eg. : ‘I PROGRAMME THIS CRYSTALS TO HELP ME IN MY MEDITATION PRACTICE/RELAXATION PRACTIVE./ HEADACHE TREATMENT ETC’’ . Each one of us may use and feel crystals in a different way.

OTHER WAYS OF CLEANSING : (SOME OF THESE MAY BE USED ON BIGGER PIECES THAT BELONG IN OUR COLLECTION AND PLACED IN OUR PERSONAL OR PROFESSIONAL SPACES):
-SAGING WITH SAGE or any other very strong cleansing herbs

Crystals are living organisms with own energy/vibration and electromagnetic field and many other beneficial components for humans like, minerals and trace elements . eg. Red and purple crystals have iron in high levels so they are considered to be very stimulating for the memory (as far as their properties are concerned).
Taking care and cleansing them is important because it keeps their vibration and energy in high levels continuously. Light is what gives life like with all living organisms. If they remain main in dark places for long period of time they strength is weakened.
They are created deeply in mother earth’s depths, during thousands of years’ creational procedures so they have accumulated information and infinite forces and many components. They are used by science and in many machines that work with laser beams because they are energy accumulators and transmitters. Quartz watches, that include quartz crystals, and other electrical and electronic devices include in their mechanism pieces of crystals (e.g. laser machines, computers e.t.c) .
