🔍 Can you get PMU done in summer, before going on holiday?

The short answer: yes, you can. But there are a few things you need to know before you book. 🤍

Summer is one of the most popular times for PMU  and I completely understand why. You're going on holiday, you want to look good without thinking about makeup, without carrying a pencil to the beach. It makes perfect sense.

But precisely because you'll be in the sun, at the sea or by the pool - we need to plan it properly.

Here's what I recommend:

✦ Book your procedure at least 4 weeks before your holiday. The skin needs time to heal completely. In the first 2 weeks the treated area needs to be kept away from sun, salt water, chlorine, and excessive sweating. If you leave too soon after the procedure, you risk compromising the healing and losing pigment.

✦ If your holiday is less than 2 weeks away - we wait. I know that might be frustrating. But a PMU result compromised by poor healing isn't worth it. Better to have the procedure when you get back and enjoy the result for months afterwards.

✦ After full healing - the beach is no problem. As long as you apply SPF to the treated area. The sun is the biggest long-term enemy of pigment. A good sunscreen helps keep the colour vibrant for much longer.

✦ Summer is perfect for a consultation. If you don't have time for the procedure right now - come in for a consultation. We establish the plan, discuss the shape and colour, and book the right date for when you're back.

I worked with the natural shape of her face -I didn't impose an Instagram template, I didn't exaggerate the arch, I didn't go darker than necessary. I chose a soft colour, followed the natural direction of her hairs, and built a shape that belongs exactly where it is on her face.

Here's what actually happens in the studio before I touch your skin:

✦ The consultation We talk. I want to know what you like, what you don't like, what your brows look like every morning without makeup. What you've had done before, how it healed, what your expectations are. There's no wrong answer - there's just information I need.

✦ Skin analysis Before anything else, I read your skin. The type, the texture, the hydration level, the elasticity. All of these influence how I'll work and which pigment I'll choose. I don't apply the same protocol to everyone.

✦ Mapping This is the step I never skip and the one I take the most time on. I measure, I analyse the symmetry, we establish the shape and density together. Every line is thought through before it's drawn. Only when we're both happy with the design - do I begin.

✦ Choosing the pigment There's no universal colour. I choose the pigment based on your skin tone, the natural colour of your hairs, and the final effect you want. I know how the colour will behave after healing and I choose one step ahead.

✦ Preparing the area We clean and prepare the skin. We apply the numbing cream and wait for it to take effect. We never rush this stage.

Only after all of these steps - does what you see in the photo appear.

Total focus. Every gesture with a purpose. Every millimetre counted.
