LOOV Organic Food
Enjoy the healing power of the Nordic superfoods! These values are what the company stands on to this day.
LOOV began in 2008 when school buddies Ahto Vegmann and Kristjan Õunamägi wanted to turn over a new page in their personal lives and put their time and effort only in things that would bring them and many others nothing but love, health, prosperity, freedom and joy. LOOV’s mission is to provide people with healthy organic products using conscious product development, responsible production and marketing. We want to play a part in the development of healthy people, a clean planet, and organic farming. LOOV’s vision is to act as a bridge between people and clean food brimming with the healing power of nature, and make organic products accessible.

You bought the superfood powder. You added a generous spoonful to your smoothie. And somehow… it tastes weird, looks clumpy and is now slowly making its way to the back of the cupboard. 😅
Before blaming the powder, there might be a much simpler explanation.
Using too much, choosing the wrong base, adding it straight to liquid, overheating it, storing it somewhere humid — small things can make a surprisingly big difference to flavor, texture and how enjoyable your daily superfood habit actually is.
And one of the biggest mistakes happens before you even open the bag: assuming all superfood powders are made the same.
We gathered 10 of the most common mistakes (plus the easy fixes) into our latest blog. Whether you're new to berry powders or already have half a pantry shelf dedicated to them, you might find a trick you haven't tried yet.

A little reminder: not every bottle of berry juice is really about the berries. 🍒🖤
Our Organic Cranberry and Blackcurrant Juices are cold-pressed and made from real berries — no added sugar, sweeteners or concentrates trying to soften what nature made.
And yes, that means the flavor is bold. Cranberry is properly tart. Blackcurrant actually tastes like blackcurrant. As it should.
Drink a small shot as it is, dilute with still or sparkling water, or add a splash to your morning smoothie.
Your first sip might make you pull a face. Your second usually follows pretty quickly.

Tart cranberry + sweet banana = a smoothie combination that just works. 🍒🍌
Save this one for tomorrow morning:
Easy Wild Cranberry Smoothie
🍌 1 ripe banana
🍓 1 cup frozen strawberries
🍒 1–2 tsp Wild Cranberry Powder
🥛 1 cup milk or plant-based drink
🥄 2 tbsp yogurt
🍯 Optional: a little honey if you like it sweeter
Blend until creamy and that's breakfast sorted.
The banana balances the naturally tart wild cranberries, while the cranberry powder brings that wonderfully sharp berry kick (and a rather impressive color).
Simple enough to make before you've properly woken up. Which, in our opinion, is an important requirement for any breakfast recipe.

There's strawberry-flavored. And then there's strawberry. 🍓
That beautiful pink color? Real berries.
The flavor? Real berries.
The ingredient list? You guessed it — freeze-dried organic strawberries.
No added sugar, no flavorings, no colors needed.
Add a spoonful to cheesecake, frosting, pancakes, yogurt or smoothies whenever fresh strawberries aren't around — or whenever you simply want more strawberry in your strawberries.
Because dessert can absolutely be fun without needing an ingredient list the length of a novel.

A little freeze-dried berry magic. 🫐
Straight from the bag, our Wild Blueberries are light and crunchy. Add them to yogurt, milk or overnight oats, give them a little time, and they absorb moisture and soften again — bringing back more of that juicy, intensely blueberry-like texture and flavor.
Basically, we removed the water. Your breakfast puts some of it back. 😉
Whole wild Nordic blueberries, freeze-dried and nothing else. Sometimes simple really is best.

Teach them early that real food can be the good stuff. 💚
Wild berries, simple ingredients, nothing unnecessary added — because some of the best habits we pass on have nothing to do with rules.
Just good food becoming normal food.

A well-stocked kitchen doesn't need 47 supplements. It needs good food. 🌿
Berries bring different polyphenols, vitamins and plant compounds. Seeds add fiber and healthy fats. And sometimes a splash of pure berry juice is exactly what the morning calls for.
That's why we're big believers in variety rather than searching for one magical “superfood” that supposedly does everything.
Blueberries today. Sea buckthorn tomorrow. Blackcurrant in your smoothie, lingonberries over breakfast, flaxseed wherever a spoonful fits.
Different plants bring different things to the table — quite literally.
No complicated wellness routine required. Just real, organic ingredients and a kitchen cupboard with options. 💚

Some snacks are just snacks. These little guys come with a résumé. 🫐
Wild blueberries are naturally rich in anthocyanins — the deep blue plant pigments found especially in their skin and flesh. And because these are whole freeze-dried berries, you’re eating the skin, seeds, pulp and all.
Freeze-drying simply removes the water while keeping the actual berry intact. No added sugar. No preservatives. No mysterious extras.
Eat them straight from the bag, scatter them over yogurt or oatmeal, add them to homemade energy bites, or give your baking a very Nordic upgrade.
Crunchy, intensely berry-ish and available even when the nearest blueberry forest is buried under snow.

What if eating well had less to do with rules… and more to do with keeping food simple? 🌲
That’s pretty much the idea behind the Nordic Diet.
Think berries, oats and rye, root vegetables, fish, nuts, seeds and plenty of seasonal produce — while highly processed foods and added sugars take more of a back seat.
And perhaps our favorite part: there’s no complicated meal plan, calorie counting or list of foods you’re suddenly forbidden to look at. 😉
It’s simply a way of eating built around real, nutrient-rich foods and making them part of everyday life.
So what does a day of eating the Nordic way actually look like? And why has this approach attracted so much attention from nutrition researchers?
We went properly Nordic on the topic in our latest blog — including the principles, foods to eat and a simple meal plan to get you started.

Lingonberries are basically the Nordic forest's answer to “leave me alone, I've got this.” 🍒🌲
Unlike cultivated berries, wild lingonberries grow without being planted, fertilized or carefully looked after. They make their home naturally in northern forests, surviving cold winters, short growing seasons and plenty of less-than-perfect weather.
And they're surprisingly impressive little berries: naturally rich in polyphenols, including anthocyanins and other plant compounds, with that unmistakably tart, slightly bitter flavor that tells you immediately you're eating the real thing.
We simply freeze-dry the whole wild berries — no added sugar, no preservatives, nothing else — so you can keep Nordic berry season in the cupboard all year round.
Add them to oatmeal, granola or yogurt, or snack on a few straight from the bag if you appreciate a berry with a bit of attitude. 😉
