Salon 37 is looking for a friendly, professional and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our busy salon team.

Hours:
Tuesday - Friday
9:00am - 5:00pm

The Role:

• Greeting new and existing clients
• Managing appointments and bookings
• Answering telephone and customer enquiries
• Preparing tea, coffee and refresh
• Ensuring every client feels welcomed and looked after throughout their visit
• Supporting the team and helping the salon run smoothly

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

• Fluent in English
• Conversational in Spanish
• Well presented and professional
• Friendly, confident and outgoing
• Organised and reliable
• Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
• Able to thrive in a busy salon environment

Kenny trained with Toni & Guy in Dublin and brings over 20 years of experience in colour and cutting. He is also a three-time award-winning stylist, with a real passion for creating beautiful, wearable hair that suits each client perfectly.

Whether you’re looking for a fresh colour, a precision cut, or a complete restyle, Kenny brings skill, creativity and years of expertise to every appointment.

If you live near the coast, your hair is taking a beating right now. Sun, salt, chlorine, and reapplied sun cream are all working against you.

We’re now stocking Helen Seward Mediter, the Italian suncare range made with Mediterranean microalgae extract. Vegan, silicone free, sulfate free, and built specifically for the kind of summer your hair is having.

A fresh colour appointment for this lovely client with Jo ✨

We refreshed the root colour and added scattered highlights throughout to brighten and soften the overall look, creating a natural blonde with plenty of dimension. Finished with soft layers and a bouncy blow-dry for beautiful movement and shine.

Beautiful hair doesn’t always need a dramatic change. Sometimes it’s all about enhancing what you already have.

Today, I’d like to celebrate a truly special lady as she begins her retirement journey – our wonderful Donna.

Many of you have known Donna for years, not just as your hairdresser, but as a friend. She built this salon into a place where everyone felt welcome, where stories were shared, friendships were made, and laughter was always in abundance.

When Donna passed the salon on to me, she left behind far more than a business. She left a legacy of kindness, hard work, loyalty, and a community of clients who absolutely adore her.

A proud Leeds lass, Donna has always brought her Yorkshire charm, quick wit, and a mischievous sense of humour wherever she goes. Whether she was putting the world to rights, sharing a laugh, or keeping us all entertained with her antics, she made every day brighter.

It has been an honour to continue the journey she started, and I know so many of you will join me in wishing her all the happiness she deserves in this next chapter.

Donna, thank you for everything you have given to this salon and to the people who walked through its doors over the years. You will be greatly missed, fondly remembered, and always be a part of Salon 37’s story.

Enjoy every minute of your retirement—you’ve earned it. Though knowing you, retirement probably just means finding new ways to get up to mischief!

Two clients in this week, both wanting something short, both walking out with completely different looks. That’s Julie for you.

The first lady went for a soft silver pixie. Loads of texture through the top, neat at the back, easy to wear and even easier to style at home. The kind of cut that just suits her.

The second was feeling braver. We took her all the way to a bright platinum and gave her a sharper, more structured crop. Proper head-turner. Have a look at that back.
