Well, well, well… look what’s landed in Mercadona! 😂 You know I had to have a nosey!

They’ve brought out their new K-Skin range by Deliplus, including a PDRN & collagen lifting serum and a gel cream with niacinamide and collagen. And the prices? Around €7 for the serum and €6.50 for the cream! 👏

But are they actually any good? Let's have a look at the science! 🔬

✨ PDRN & collagen serum: PDRN is a big ingredient in Korean beauty at the moment. There's research into its potential skin-repair benefits, but much of the promising evidence comes from medical treatments, so we can't assume a serum will give the same results.

✨ Collagen: It can help hydrate the skin and make it look smoother, which can soften the appearance of fine lines. But don't expect it to replace the collagen we've lost as we age!

✨ Niacinamide cream: This is the ingredient I'm particularly interested in! It's a form of vitamin B3 with evidence supporting its use for improving the skin barrier, hydration and uneven skin tone. Definitely an ingredient worth looking out for!
