Moving to Spain? Starting a lash biz? Only speaking English? How would that work?

Well first we move to Spain. Second we start it, market it, crowd source it. Third we learn the language, we fail at it, feel embarrassed about it, doubt it, have a crash out over it, but eventually we over come it. And fourth we just let it work out the way it’s supposed to. Those aligned will align and those that don’t won’t. That’s the beauty of having your own business.

Some of you guys who do lash extensions should go directly to jail 🙅🏻‍♀️ I do not claim this negative energy

Best way to stand out? Stay in your own bubble and create your own niche and narrative. Stop comparing yourself to other businesses. You are not the same person, nor do you have the same style, or experiences

Europeans love to comment on the friendliness of Americans. Even some commenting that it may seem fake or unauthentic.

Well my answer is that, in the USA extrorevtism is often rewarded more than introvertism. Usually those that are the loudest get the most attention and most of the time those people are entrepreneurs who need people to hear or see their business.

And Americans are very opportunistic. It is the land of opportunities, well maybe not right now. But for a very long time it was held as the land of opportunities. So anytime we may be able to connect or network we are going to take it.

Think about it? How many lash artist are doing well that don’t have a social media, network, post, or come online to constantly talk about their business?

This was so interesting to me. I had a client who went somewhere else here in Valencia and she said she could feel the other lash artist was not confident in what they were doing even though her eyes were closed. She just knew that the lash artist felt nervous

And I found this interesting because as a lash artist I don’t have a clients perspective but she told me that there was a big difference in the way I was moving, methodically, and with confidence through my set. I just found that interesting

So my baby lash artist, when we say fake it till you make it. This applies to your hands too!
