The people in the Momoj villge of Kurkua kebele collect water from the nearby stream which is highly contaminated. Due to this unclean and unsafe drinking water, the local people were repeatedly infected with pathogens that result in water born diseases like Typhoid fever, Amoebic dysentery, Giardiasis etc. The provision of safe drinking water is a key development issue in this Momoj village for improving health and living conditions.
We have already constructed a hand dug well with hand pump in collaboration with Dounia Charity Organization (Financial Support) in Momoj village of Kurkura kebele(Bati Woreda) which will serve as source of clean and safe drinking water for that particular local community.

Our organization, Timret for Development and Growth Organization started its work by constructing a water supply facility at Kurkura kebele Momoj village of Bati woreda. We are now at the final stage of constructing a hand dug well with hand pump at this particular place Momoj villge in collaboration with Dounia Charity.
