Param Sara’s The Bodhi candle drifted through the venue as an olfactory thread. Rather than framing fragrance merely as a wearable accessory, it situated scent within a broader conversation connecting the body, surroundings and primal instinct.

Rooted in the philosophy of Eastern Universality, the experience leaned into beautiful duality: scent against sound, movement alongside stillness. Stepping back from the hum of city life, guests contemplated interwoven cycles and slipped into a state of complete inner equilibrium.

To mark Param Sara’s second anniversary, we joined Paper Moon Shanghai for a pop-up experience inspired by Simone de Beauvoir’s timeless line. Together, we gathered masterworks from five pioneering female writers, translating their literary narratives into olfactory journeys.

Centered on “Becoming,” we held conversations with our community to explore the endless, ongoing evolution of self, a journey without final destination.
