I’m sitting here this morning, reflecting on our trip to the Highlands 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and the latest achievement. 🏔️

The day started at 7am dark and wet. Got to the Jeep to find a puncture. Great start! Some would say a bad omen. We put it down to part of the challenge. Quick wheel change, and off we went.

Rainstorms and snow, with little breaks. All uphill, no plateaus or breaks there. When we reached the summit, it felt like a different world up there. -12 feel-like temperature, very little visibility. We stopped for a couple minutes and Cub 🐶 completely froze. I made the call to leave the guys behind and run him down to get beneath the cloud. By then, a storm was hitting, Cub was moving slow and crying, and we had to push to the bottom alone. He had provided grip and stability when we met the ice, getting me up there safely. It was my job to get him down safely. He’s all good now, but the panic and risk at the time was certainly real. ❄️

To some - a day out. To me - huge.

So, my reflection:

It’s funny really… if I’d have never had the accident, I’d likely have never seen these mountain tops. I’d have probably never entered a gym, definitely never started BUDS BALM® .

Those devastating, heavy moments were the same ones that offered me major growth and set the bar for what I was prepared to endure and push through. Literally forced me into an uphill struggle… a great reflection of what was to come - now willingly.

Life is always working in our favour, even when it feels like it’s hammering against us. We just have to take a second to look at the process and find the opportunity.

A hard fought weekend, won. Appreciate the company and efforts from my good friends. We made a great team. 2/3 peaks. ✅

Grateful for all your support. Proud to support you back. We’ll push forward together and keep putting ourselves into those tough moments, always growing. 🤝💪
