Castles, cruises and coastlines: untangling the rules around tying the knot Consultation launched on reforming weddings law for the first time in 200 years, giving couples more choice over where and how they say 'I do'.

I am so fortunate to meet with so many wonderful couples and families who send me messages and cards which I truly treasure. I rarely feel that its appropriate for me to share these but I am really aware of the importance of word of mouth and the value of honest feedback.

Surrounded by flowers on an arch made by the groom in a gorgeous venue, inside rather than outside as the weather couldn't quite decide what to do! What a fabulous view from the ceremony room looking over the very nearly private beach, with the wild waves breaking as the storm clouds from last night were blown away to allow some perfect sunshine! Such a pleasure to create a very full and deeply personal ceremony with this lovely couple to share with their family and friends. Certainly got my steps in too! #

What a day! What could be better than being beside a lake with a breeze blowing across the water to celebrate E&L's wedding in a truly personal and deeply meaningful way! Can't wait to see the photos from this one! #

Such a stunning venue today, with everything perfectly managed but in a very relaxed way. Was wonderful -if slightly stressful - to include all the sixty guests in a Sand Ceremony with most of it happening before the beautiful brides made their entrances but it worked like a dream, and was such a special moment. It was such a pleasure to help J&C to find ways to celebrate every area of their lives, including different faith and beliefs. Just one of the many reasons I love a led ceremony.

Driving to my wedding venue today I was amazed by the beauty of the ever changing clouds in the sky. So dramatic! At times dark and moody, at others billowy and brilliant white! Some of my favourite wedding photos are those with incredible skies!
