Harsh truth: one treatment cannot undo years of skin history.

Pigmentation can be a complex skin concern influenced by multiple internal and external factors, including UV exposure, hormonal changes, inflammation, heat, medication, skin trauma and post-inflammatory responses.

This is why I never treat pigmentation as a surface-level concern alone.

I assess the possible cause, depth, duration and pattern of pigmentation, alongside skin sensitivity, barrier function, treatment history and current homecare.

From there, I create a structured treatment plan designed to support the skin, target visible pigmentation and help reduce the risk of recurrence where possible.

Effective pigmentation management requires consistency, clinical assessment and long-term skin support, not a one-treatment approach.

I had the most inspiring few days in Barcelona with pHformula at the end of May, immersed in the latest advances in skin health, regenerative treatment protocols and clinical formulations.
