One year ago today, we bought the salon 🥹🤍

It’s actually crazy to think that it’s been a whole year already. Although, if I’m honest, it doesn’t really feel like a year because we didn’t even start work on the place until February 🙈

Life was just SO hectic, and between everything going on, we had to put the renovation on the back burner for a little while. But once we started, there was no stopping us.

What followed was months of dust, mess, DIY, endless decisions, very long days, a few “what the hell are we doing?” moments and slowly watching the space turn into something I’d only ever imagined.

Looking back now, I genuinely can’t believe how far we’ve come in such a short space of time.

Studio 38 has become so much more than just a salon. It’s something we’ve poured so much time, energy and love into, and I’m so proud of what we’ve created.

A year since buying the place, and only a few months since actually getting stuck in. And I think we’ve done alright 🥹🤍
