It’s not a failure — it’s the curriculum.

In the beginning the mind does exactly what it’s always done: narrate, evaluate, worry, and measure.

The very act of noticing how loud it is is already the first quiet step. Over time you stop fighting the chatter and simply start recognizing the space behind it — that still, wordless place that was never actually disturbed.

The paradox is that the struggle itself is part of the path that eventually shows you where the quiet lives.

The mind will keep talking for a while. And one day you’ll realize you’ve been resting in the silence the whole time.
