“ Will my nails be thick if i get BIAB?”

This is something i get asked a lot!

The short answer? No, BIAB should not automatically mean thick, bulky or lumpy nails.

There’s so much more to a good BIAB service than just applying a builder gel. The product, nail preparation, application, structure, refinement and removal are all things that matter.

Before choosing where to have your nails done, here are a few things worth asking:

✨ Is your nail technician properly qualified?
✨ Do they know exactly which product they’re using and why it’s suitable for your nails?
✨ Can they explain how the product should be removed?
✨ Is your natural nail being correctly prepared?
✨ Are you having an infill rather than having a new set applied?
✨ Is your natural nail being assessed as it grows and changes?
✨ Is the BIAB being properly refined before your colour is applied?

BIAB isn’t one-size-fits-all. There are lots of different builder products available, and choosing the right one for the individual nail is important.

And yes… BIAB can be strong without being thick. 🤍

As a nail tech, I think clients should feel confident asking questions about what is being applied to their natural nails and why.

To all of my lovely clients,

I wanted to let you know that there will be a price update across my services from Friday 10th July

Although I adjusted my prices earlier this year, the continued increase in the cost of products and running my business means I need to review my pricing again. This allows me to continue providing the high-quality products, service, and attention to detail that I pride myself on.

Any appointments that are already booked will be honoured at the current price. The new pricing will apply to all future appointments booked going forward.

My online booking system has now been updated with the new prices, and I'd really appreciate it if appointments could be booked as accurately as possible.

If you're wanting nail art, French tips, or any additional designs, please make sure these are selected when booking so enough time is allocated for your appointment.

Please note:

✨ Nail art is charged separately from a plain BIAB or gel appointment.

✨ Nail art taking longer than one hour must be pre-booked and will be charged accordingly.

✨ If nail art hasn't been booked, I may not be able to accommodate it on the day due to time constraints.

I completely understand that price increases aren't ideal, and I know they may not suit everyone's budget. Nails are a luxury service, and while I'll be sad to see anyone go, I completely understand. My priority is ensuring I can continue providing the quality, products, and service that you all deserve.
