Hey! I thought it was time for a little re-introduction since it’s been a while 🙊

I’m Amy, the face behind UKIYO, running both the Banbury and Leamington Spa treatment rooms. Back in December ‘24, I finally took the leap and left my full-time head spa role to fully pursue my dream of working for myself and to spend more time with my little petting zoo at home 🐾

As you can probably tell, I’m usually found in dog-covered clothes, minimal makeup, fully embracing my dog mum era 😂 You may even be greeted by Bella, my black Collidor, at the Banbury room as she’s very much the self-appointed Client Liaison Officer.

I’ve been in the industry for 15 years now 😳 (which still feels wild to admit!). Over the years I’ve worked within luxury spas and salons across both holistic and aesthetics treatments, learning from some amazing brands and people along the way.

My aim with UKIYO has always been simple to create a calm, safe space in the middle of the chaos of everyday life. Whether you come for the chats, the giggles, or a completely silent treatment, everyone is welcome here. Arrive in your comfies, work clothes, messy hair, or full glam this is a judgement-free space made for you 💕
