What is encapsulation and why does it matter?

Many retinal serums are made as emulsions, which means oil and water are blended together into one uniform formula. The catch is that this process often requires high heat, and heat is not always kind to delicate actives.
Youth Potion Advanced takes a different route, using encapsulation technology – suspending retinal and other oil-based actives inside 200,000 protective microcapsules within the formula. Think of them as miniature delivery systems, designed to keep those ingredients shielded and stable until the moment they reach your skin.
Because this process uses minimal heat, it protects the strength and performance of the actives from the outset.
