Have You Got A Business That's Outgrown The Spare Room?
I've got a room available within Jack's Muscle Remedy in Banchory and I'd love to see it being used by another local professional.
The ideal fit would be someone in health, wellbeing, beauty or a similar field who's looking for a professional space to see clients.
The room is private, well-presented and right in the centre of town.
If that's you, or you know someone who might be interested, send me a message and let's have a chat.

What's the one bit of mobility equipment I'd recommend everyone owns?
Actually... make that two.
A foam roller and a hard massage ball.
You don't need a cupboard full of gadgets or the latest recovery tool that's doing the rounds on social media.
A foam roller is great for larger muscle groups like the quads, glutes, calves and upper back.
A hard ball lets you get into those stubborn areas a roller can't reach, like the feet, glutes, pecs and shoulders.
Used consistently, these simple tools can help reduce tension, improve movement and keep you feeling a little less stiff between treatments.
The best part? You can pick both up for less than the cost of a takeaway and they'll last for years.
Sometimes the simplest tools are still the best ones.
Stretching your shoulders but still tight? Try your lats instead.
If overhead movements feel restricted, your shoulders aren't always the problem.
Tight lats can limit how well you get your arms overhead and may make movements like presses, pull-ups and overhead squats feel much harder than they need to.
This banded stretch helps open up the side of the body while adding a bit of rotation to target the lat from a different angle.
💡 Focus on breathing, don't force the stretch, and slowly move into a position where you feel a gentle pull.
Try 30-60 seconds each side before & after training.
Mobility isn't about turning yourself into a gymnast.
It's about giving your body the range it needs for the things you enjoy doing.
Feeling stiff through your upper back and shoulders?
This is one of my favourite activation drills using nothing more complicated than a wall ball.
A lot of us spend the day sitting at a desk, driving or hunched over a phone, which can leave the thoracic spine feeling pretty locked up.
By gently mobilising this area, you can often help improve:
✔ Upper back mobility
✔ Shoulder movement
✔ Overhead positions in the gym
✔ General posture and comfort
Take your time with it.
Nice controlled movements.
No forcing the range.
Sometimes the best drills are the simple ones. 👌

Ever feel like your biceps and forearms are just permanently tight?
You've stretched them, shaken them out and maybe even given them a rub, but they still feel like they're hanging onto something.
This is one of my favourite drills for that stubborn tightness.
By adding a bit of pressure through the muscle while slowly moving the arm, you can sometimes help the tissues relax and move a bit more freely.
Nice and controlled.
No need to force it.
No need to chase pain.
Give it a go and see how you get on!
(As always, a bit of discomfort is fine. Sharp pain isn't. If it hurts, stop.)
