It’s day ONE of Salon International, and I’m on the stand doing live hair demos!

Catherine’s calm wedding day actually started the night before…

A year earlier, she came to me for her first Curly Transformation.

During that time, she learned what her natural texture needed, how to care for it and, most importantly, how to wear it with confidence.

The evening before she said “I do”, Catherine visited my studio for a full wash, prep and style, ready for me to create her bridal look the following day.

There was no painfully early start, last-minute panic or worrying about how her hair would turn out.

She could simply soak up every moment of getting ready, knowing it was all taken care of.

Because feeling beautiful should be part of the excitement, not another thing on your to-do list.

A week later & I’m still smiling about this night! 🥂

Celebrating 10 years of with drinks, dancing & plenty of craic. Put that many curlies in one room and there was always going to be BIG hair & a bloody good party. 😂

But looking back, it’s the people that made it. Getting to chat, laugh & celebrate with so many people who share my love for curls was pretty special.

There was a time I didn’t even embrace my own curls. Now they’re such a huge part of my life, my work & the reason I get to be in rooms like this. That’s a lovely thing to stop and appreciate. 🥹

And now I’m packing my bags again, this time heading to Salon International to be the Only Curls hairstylist for the event! Fair to say I’m a wee bit excited!
