ONE IN FOUR 🧡

Around 1 in 4 people in England experience a mental health problem each year.

So for World Mental Health Day, we’re swapping the running for walking and getting together for a 2.5K community walk.

📅 Saturday 10th October
⏰ 4pm
📍 Starting at Twenty.Two.Six, finishing at Noire

This one really is for everyone. Bring your family, your mates, the kids, the dog or just bring yourself. You don’t need to be a runner and you definitely don’t need to already be part of the club.

We’ll be following the 2.5K short route we use for our monthly Run Club, so if you’ve been thinking about coming along but haven’t quite fancied turning up to a run yet, this is a good chance to come and meet us, see what we’re about and get familiar with the route.

There’s no pace to keep up with and nothing to prove. We just want to get people out in the fresh air, moving, talking and checking in with each other.

We’ll finish at Noire afterwards, so stick around for a coffee and a catch-up too ☕️

Come with someone you know, come on your own, bring someone who could do with getting out of the house for an hour. Everyone’s welcome.

No one runs alone. And no one has to walk alone either. 🧡

£820.50 going straight back into our community 🧡

When we started planning our first Twenty.Two.Six Community Summer Party, we just wanted to put on a good day that people could come along to and enjoy without worrying about the cost.

What we got was so much more than that.

A brilliant afternoon full of families, friends, local businesses and familiar faces and thanks to everyone who donated, bought raffle and tombola tickets and got involved on the day, we now have £820.50 to put straight back into local causes.

We’ve asked our Community Partners to help us find some of the smaller, grassroots groups, projects and people doing good locally, where a bit of extra support could make a genuine difference so this will be announced next week.

Thank you to everyone who came, helped, donated, sponsored, volunteered, shared, danced, ate a burger or simply showed up. You made our first one pretty special.

Local people. Local businesses. Local community. 🧡

Raffle has now been drawn. Head over to Twenty Two Six Community to see if youre a lucky winner!

Please give the page a like while youre there 👍😃

🌞🎉👨‍🎨🍔🍺🍻

Hello everyone. Tickets are now closed but dont worry, if you dont have a ticket you can still attend - it would just be a charitable donation for food. Tickets are just valid for 1 free food item

See you all soon
