Well . . . that’s it. My last day as a beauty therapist and nail tech before I swap England for sunshine and spiders down under!

What a strange sentence that is!

I just wanted to say a ginormous thank you to every single client who has supported me over the years. Thank you for trusting me with your nails, brows, lashes, waxing, and occasionally your deepest life secrets. Honestly, I’ve probably heard enough stories to write a bestselling novel.

It’s been such a privilege to be part of your weddings, holidays, special occasions, and everyday catch ups. What started as appointments often turned into friendships, and that’s something I’ll always be grateful for.

To my regulars who booked every 4 weeks with military precision, thank you. And to those who texted “Can you squeeze me in tomorrow?” at 9pm, I forgive you . . . mostly. 😂

After years of appointments, chats, laughs, life updates, wedding prep, holiday nails, emergencies, and hearing enough gossip to qualify as a local news reporter, it’s time for a change. Thank you all for keeping me busy doing a job I genuinely loved.

Of course . . . a HUGE thank you to Faye for giving me the opportunity to be part of the salon, tolerating me, and only occasionally having to remind me to behave 😆 Thank you for all your support and friendship over the years. It’s been an absolute pleasure being part of the Gibbs & Co family. I’ll miss you all, even the days when we were running purely on caffeine and good intentions. ☕😂

And finally, a special thank you goes to everyone who listened to me say:

‘Nails are jewels, not tools.’

And then immediately used them to peel off labels, open parcels, scrape stickers, remove batteries, and perform home DIY.

Your confidence in BIAB was truly inspiring!

As exciting as this move is, saying goodbye is definitely the hardest part. I’m sure I’ll miss you all more than you’ll miss your infills!

And with that . . . Here’s to a new chapter, new adventures, and a future where people finally accept that nails are jewels, not tools.

As the year comes to a close, and I finally put my file down, pack my tools away, and stop inhaling nail dust for a hot minute . . . I just want to say the biggest thank you to every single client who has supported my little business ✨

My little business would not exist without you, and I am so grateful for each and every one of you. I truly have the best clients, and I never take that for granted.

Ready for another year full of fresh sets, glowing skin, even more laughs . . . And who knows what else! 😉
