My client came to me with old microblading that had faded to an orange tone, along with natural brow hair growing beneath the previous shape. She felt her brows sat too low and gave her face a sad, heavy appearance.

After discussing all the options, expectations and future maintenance, we carefully created a more uplifting shape, corrected the old colour and tidied the natural brow hair we no longer wanted within the design.

This wasn’t a straightforward set of brows, but it was the right result for my client and seeing how happy she was made it completely worthwhile.

I rarely use pure black 🙌

Grey wash isn’t just for shading… it’s one of the things that gives a fine line tattoo softness, depth and longevity. ✨

Instead of using only pure black, I use carefully diluted grey tones to create subtle contrast, gentle transitions and a more delicate finish. It allows certain details to sit back while others stand out, helping the tattoo look elegant rather than harsh.

As your tattoo heals and naturally softens over time, these subtle tones continue to create dimension without overpowering the design.
This also means that the smaller detail stays crisper 😙

Every technique I use has a purpose, and grey wash is one of the little details that makes a big difference to the final result. 🖤
