A whole lip fresh for Ashley, this time in ombré blush 👄

I hadn’t tattoo’d Ashley’s lips since early 2023! And look just how well the tattoo had aged with her lip tissue over the years. It had broken down that much we were basically starting again 😆

We opted for the ombré method this time for a stronger, carved out border & more definition around the edges 👄 but still in a way that’s soft enough and not overpowering for everyday wear

Love my job, especially when I get to see the clients who have been with me since the start of my career as a lip blush artist 🥰 LY all

Top left | Before: my clients lips before treatment - healthy lip tissue with good colour to begin with, were just lacking definition around the edges!

Top right | Pre-draw: Mapping out my clients new lip shape to create a balanced, more symmetrical result before we begin any tattooing

Bottom left | Freshly tattooed: The pigment appears bold and vibrant immediately after treatment. Remember, fresh results are always more intense than the healed colour 😇

Bottom right | Healed after one session: The colour has softened significantly, and not only in line with my clients own natural undertone, but healed almost exactly like her favourite lip stain! This photo was taken just before the top-up appointment. One quick & final session to add further definition & more saturation 👄

& even though it has only been one session & they’re not perfect yet at this stage - my clients lips already look fuller & more defined, amazing eh? 🙊

My client was really nervous coming in for her first appointment because she just didn’t know what to expect from lip blush. 🤍

Lip blush is a journey! Something I say on repeat to every client! It’s not always about getting the boldest result possible in one appointment, it’s about building the colour and seeing how your lips heal.
