🧘♀️ Meditation Made Easy 🧘♀️
When people hear “meditation,” they often picture someone sitting cross-legged in silence for hours, completely zen with zero thoughts in their mind. 😅
But let me tell you — that is not the only way to do it!
✨ Meditation is simply the practice of thinking mindfully/deliberitely, as opposed to thinking mind-LESS-ly, which is what we're all doing most of the time.
I started my own journey with just 3 minutes a day, and even that tiny habit helped me feel calmer, more grounded, and less reactive.
You don’t need incense or a fancy room. You can meditate:
🌿 Sitting in a chair
🌿 Lying in bed
🌿 While walking or swimming (my fave!)
🌿 Even while sipping your morning tea 🍵
The key is consistency — and starting where you’re at.
💭 What can meditation help with?
✨ Lower stress + anxiety
✨ Better focus + clarity
✨ Improved sleep
✨ Emotional regulation
✨ Creativity + patience
✨ And so much more...
So to help you start (or restart) your practice, I’ve made a little Beginner’s Meditation Menu with:
🧘♀️ 3, 5, and 10-minute options
🧘♀️ A tracker to build your habit
🧘♀️ Different meditation styles to try
🧘♀️ And tips to make it YOURS
🧘♀️ I've also included a link to my favourite guided meditation app

🧴✨ SKIN SCHOOL: “My skin is dry AND oily AND spotty AND sensitive… what do I even use?!”
If you’ve ever felt like your skin can’t make up its mind, you are not alone 😅
Combination skin can feel like you’re trying to treat four different faces at once.
You might have:
• An oily T-zone (forehead, nose, chin) ✨
• Dry or tight cheeks 💧
• Breakouts in certain areas
• Sensitivity on top of everything else
So how do you choose products without making one area worse?
First — don’t treat your whole face as one single skin type 💗
✨ Your skin can behave differently in different areas. That’s normal.
Instead of attacking oil and scrubbing dryness away, think in layers and balance.
Here’s what usually helps:
🫧 A gentle, non-stripping cleanser (if your face feels tight after washing, it’s too harsh).
💧 A lightweight, barrier-supporting moisturiser that hydrates without clogging.
🎯 Targeted treatments only where needed (for example, breakout treatments just on the T-zone).
☀️ Daily SPF — always.
The biggest mistake we see with combination skin?
Over-correcting.
Using very harsh products for oil can make dry areas worse.
Using very heavy creams for dryness can clog oily areas.
Combination skin isn’t about choosing “dry” or “oily.”
It’s about choosing balanced and barrier-friendly.
And if your skin is also sensitive?
Barrier repair comes first — always 💗

😴 Why You’re Always Tired 😴
If you’re constantly exhausted — even after a full night’s sleep — you’re not alone 🥱
But did you know there are actually three types of tired… and each one needs a different kind of rest?
Let’s break it down:
💤 Physical Fatigue – Your body’s wiped out.
✅ Try: Better sleep, hydration, stretching, real food.
🧠 Mental Fatigue – You’ve been overthinking or overstimulated.
✅ Try: Screen breaks, brain dumps, decision-light routines.
💔 Emotional Fatigue – You’ve been feeling everything.
✅ Try: Journaling, chatting with someone safe, setting boundaries.
💡 The key? Ask yourself: What kind of tired am I actually feeling?
Because sleeping more isn’t always the answer — sometimes it’s emotional care or a proper mental reset.
✨ I’ve made a free “Which Type of Tired Are You?” checklist — it’s a quick tool to help you figure out what kind of rest you really need.

🌹 SKIN SCHOOL: Why Am I Always Red?
This week you lot asked:
“I feel like my face is red all the time… what is it?”
Redness and rosacea actually sit on a bit of a spectrum 💗
For some people, it’s general skin redness caused by sensitivity or a weakened barrier.
For others, it may be rosacea — which is a more chronic inflammatory condition.
The tricky part? They can look VERY similar.
Redness (mild or rosacea-prone) is usually linked to things like:
• A compromised skin barrier 🧱
• Over-exfoliation or harsh products 🧴
• Heat, stress or alcohol 🔥
• Hormonal changes
• Sun exposure ☀️
• Naturally reactive skin
When your barrier isn’t functioning properly, your skin becomes more vulnerable — leading to flushing, irritation and that constant pink tone (especially across cheeks and nose).
If your redness is persistent, easily triggered, or comes with visible capillaries, it could be rosacea rather than simple sensitivity.
But here’s the reassuring part 💗
The foundation of care for both is very similar.
✨ Calm. Strengthen. Protect.
That means:
• Gentle, fragrance-free skincare 🫧
• Barrier-supporting moisturisers (ceramides are brilliant)
• Reducing strong acids and aggressive actives
• Daily SPF ☀️
• Identifying your triggers
Where it slightly differs? Vitamin C.
💛 If redness is from uneven tone or post-spot marks, Vitamin C can help brighten.
But if your skin feels hot, reactive or rosacea-prone, stronger Vitamin C can increase irritation — and barrier repair should come first.
Redness isn’t usually about needing more products.
It’s about needing smarter, gentler support 💗

School Leavers : How to Nail a Job Interview 💼💗
Whether you're stepping into your first role or going after your next big opportunity, being prepared is everything — and today’s video is full of practical, confidence-boosting tips that could make all the difference.
✨ Before the Interview
✔️ Read the job advert carefully (and follow the instructions exactly!)
✔️ Research the company + interviewer if possible
✔️ List why you’re a great fit — your skills, experience, availability, and values
💬 Practice answering:
• “What are your weaknesses?”
• “What are your goals?”
• “Tell us about a time when…” (Use real examples!)
✨ On the Day
💪 Power pose for 2 mins & say your affirmations:
“I am calm, capable and ready.”
“I’ll show them I’m the right fit.”
🙅♀️ Don’t be over-familiar (no ‘babe’ or ‘mate’)
🧠 Ask thoughtful questions like:
• “What does a superstar team member look like here?”
• “What are your company’s goals for the year ahead?”
✨ After the Interview
✅ Send a short thank-you email
✅ Mention something specific they said — it shows you were engaged!
To make things easy, I’ve created a printable Interview Prep-Sheet you can fill out and take with you (tidily of course 😉). You can grab it below or from our Wellness Library in the link in our bio.

🐚 SKIN SCHOOL: Those Tiny Hard White Lumps…
.. that seem to appear out of nowhere… and refuse to budge 😅
You know the ones.
They look like squeezable whiteheads — but nothing comes out.
Those little bumps are called milia.
And while they might look like spots, they’re actually something completely different.
🤍 Milia are small keratin-filled cysts that sit just under the surface of the skin. Keratin is a protein your skin naturally produces, but sometimes it becomes trapped instead of shedding properly — which forms those firm, pearly-white bumps.
They’re completely harmless… just stubborn!
🤍 Why do they appear?
• Dead skin isn’t exfoliating properly
• Heavier creams can trap keratin
• Skin damage or irritation
• Or sometimes… for no obvious reason at all
They’re very common around the eyes and cheeks where the skin is thinner.
🤍 Can you squeeze them?
Short answer: no 🙃
Unlike whiteheads, milia don’t have an opening, so squeezing usually just irritates the skin and can cause damage or scarring.
🤍 So how do you get rid of them?
✨ Gentle, consistent exfoliation (mild acids or retinoids used correctly)
✨ Professional extraction in a salon or clinic, done safely and hygienically
If you’re not sure whether it’s milia (because not every white bump is!), we’re always happy to guide you on the safest next step 💗
