A long-lasting manicure is lovely, but good retention doesn’t mean your nails don’t need maintenance.

As your natural nails grow, the structure and balance of your BIAB or builder gel can change. Leaving your infills too long may increase the risk of lifting, breakages and unnecessary stress on your natural nails.

That’s why I generally recommend booking your infills every 3–4 weeks, depending on your nail growth and condition. 🤍

Because my goal isn’t just to give you beautiful nails that last — it’s to help you maintain healthy, strong, beautifully structured nails too. ✨

MYTH: Ingrown toenails are just inevitable. 👀👣

While some people are naturally more prone to ingrown toenails, the way your toenails are cut and cared for can make a difference.

Cutting them too short or digging too deeply into the corners isn’t the answer. A good pedicure is about understanding the nail, working carefully and knowing what NOT to cut. 🤍

And remember — more cutting doesn’t automatically mean a better pedicure. ✨

Regular, professional foot care can help keep your toenails and surrounding skin well maintained, but persistent, painful, swollen or infected ingrown toenails should always be assessed by an appropriate healthcare professional.
