August is our birthday! 🎉 But it’s also a very deep month for us…
🏅8️⃣🎉🎂Eight years of building up The Parlour to where we stand today, meeting amazing clients, carrying out beautiful treatments, laughter, good chats and everything inbetween.
OUR ROOTS
We began our journey in Maulden back in 2018. We was a mother - daughter duo who began the salon because we both had a creative side that we wanted to explore, but didn’t know where it would go!

Every client, appointment, review, interaction with you is something that I’m forever grateful for & am super proud of where the salon is today.
👼🏼🪽🪽August is a month of celebration, but it’s also a month of deep sadness for me because 2 years ago today, we sadly lost my partner in crime, my business partner, my Mum. Unfortunately, mum passed away before I moved to Ampthill, meaning she didn’t get to see the new salon, but everything that I have done in there really reflects her. The salon is in mum’s memory❤️❤️
If you were lucky enough to meet my Mum, you would’ve known how funny, crazy she was. She was also professional, highly creative, kind and a very caring person who was mentally and physically strong 💪🏼 when she faced a challenge with her illness, she wouldn’t let it get her down, she would still power through her everyday which I admire her for!
So, here’s to eight years of The Parlour, whilst we also remember the lady who helped set up the salon & moulded it into what it is today. 🧠🌍🎬

We will then always look into what you already do to help your skin concerns at home (if you do) & advise where to go to work that little bit better.
What to expect
In your initial consultation appointment, we will ask you lots of questions to get a detailed picture on you and your skin as a whole before even touching your skin.
We then get you up onto the Facial Couch for treatment. We provide a deep cleanse whilst picking out where our facial will take us next. Not one product works for all.
We then create you a tailored skincare plan to follow at home. We can play around with this to ensure you enjoy the feel of the products, are happy with the routine & if it’s realistic for you.
We review your skin at your next appointment. We check in on how you are getting on with your Dermalogica skin plan. We listen & we adapt to skin changes as we go.
Your skin will go through waves, we are there to ride them with you🌊🌊 It’s all part of the journey to get your skin to a level where you are happy & your skin health has been maintained.
