🥹🎒 First day back to school for my two girls 🤍

A big day in our house today a special one for Prea, her very first day of secondary school! 🥹✨

I honestly don’t know where the years have gone. Watching you head off in your new uniform, ready to start such a big new chapter, made me feel so emotional and so, so proud of you. 🤍

Prea, you’ve grown into such a beautiful, kind and confident girl. Go into secondary school believing in yourself, make amazing memories, work hard, have fun and always stay true to who you are.

And my Parker, P5 already! Another year older, another year more grown up and making Mummy proud every single day. 💕

And to both my girls, have the best first day back. Watching you grow is one of my greatest privileges.

Two different chapters for both of you, but I'm equally proud of you both. Go be brave, be kind, believe in yourselves, work hard, have fun and make the best memories.

So proud of you both. Mum & dad love you more than you’ll ever know. 💕📚🎒

💛 And just like that… Year Two is DONE! 💛

Today marks the end of my second year of nursing — and officially the last day I’ll ever wear yellow! 🥹💛

What a year it has been. It’s challenged me, pushed me, taught me more about myself than I ever expected and, at times, tested me in ways that went far beyond nursing.

But I kept going.

Through placements, assignments, exams, long shifts, family life, work, tears, laughs and everything in between… Year Two: completed. 🎓✨

Every experience — the good and the difficult — has shaped the nurse I’m becoming, and I’m so proud to have made it to this point.

Now it’s goodbye yellow 💛 and hello FINAL YEAR! 😭🩺

One year closer to those letters I’ve worked so hard for…

I don’t think there are words that can really express the loss we are feeling right now.

You were an absolute legend — the life and soul of our family, always bringing the laughter, the stories and a presence that could fill any room. Life simply won’t be the same without you in it.

I feel so lucky to have had you as my Grandad and to have so many memories that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. Although saying goodbye hurts more than words can say, I know you’ll live on through every story we tell, every laugh we share and all the memories you gave us.

The heart of our family, loved beyond words and missed more than you could ever know.
