Keloid removal at Belfast Skin Clinic
Following any injury or surgery, fibrous scar tissue forms over the wound to protect the injury and aid healing. In some cases, this scar tissue grows excessively forming protruding hard growths called keloids.
At Belfast Skin Clinic we treat keloids using steroid injections or surgery, carried out by our highly skilled and experienced Consultant Plastic Surgeons.
We also have a Maxillofacial Prosthetist who creates custom-made ear clips for our keloid patients to prevent keloid recurrence.
