This is something I am seeing a lot
And it’s not to scare you away from products, but it’s about using the right product at the right time.
Yes the hair will still need a cut, and there are other factors that will be adding to damage such as heat, but soooooo many people are over using certain products and having the opposite effect.
The thing is with protein it feels amazing the first couple of times ( because your hair probably needed it)
But once you’ve overloaded the hair it can become too much.
Everything needs balance
Is this helpful?
Would you like me to talk you through what hair types need protein bs moisture next?
And what is protein and why we add it to the hair?
Let me know your thoughts

I’m 20 years + in and i still don’t claim to know it all
But what I do know is I love cutting hair, and honestly if your balance isn’t bang on or your weight distribution then the cut IS just not going to work…
What do I mean my that?
Well we’ve all had those layers so short, that make the ends of the hair look thin… taking the balance completely off
Or
On the other hand no layers at all that the hair almost looks triangular.
Looking at the hair texture, density and thickness all helps when deciding on how to cut the hair or how short to go.
If you’re not sure about layers it’s probably just because you’ve had a bad experience.
When any client arrives in my chair, personally I will only ever do styles that I think will work with your hair and lifestyle, selfishly because you’re my walking billboard 🤭
😂😂😂
Why is it so scary?!
There are people that do this ALL the time, I salute you 🫡
It turned out ok, but I think next time I’m going to ignore the intrusive thoughts 😂
Also if you need your fringe trimming, just know I am way more confident doing it on other people and not on my own hair ! 😂
I mean there’s no one more honest than a 7 year old…. (May have bribed her)
She’s not wrong in what’s she’s saying though, come to mane78 we can change your natural hair colour.
Blonde hair should still look healthy
It needs a little more tlc that’s a given.
But crown hair naturally reflects the light better, whereas blondes tend to absorb the light.
Ways you can keep your blonde looking for expensive
🌸 the most obvious one is not to over bleach the hair
🌸keeping contrast in the hair makes the blonde pop
🌸 make sure the cuticle is smooth (this helps the light reflect)
🌸 too much protein can make the hair stiff@, make sure you’re adding moisture 💦 to your hair care routine.
🌸 heat protection isn’t negotiable here
🌸use low heat on styling products
🌸 regular little trims to keep those ends healthy
🌸 toners between colours
We all know when that one song comes on 😂😂
We talk louder, we fill the silence …. But none of us skip it 😂

Here’s a little insight on how we work here at mane78
Sometimes it can be confusing with so many people under one roof, but one thing to bear in mind we are all our OWN buisness. Things vary from stylist to stylist such as colours, policies and even working hours. So things run smoothly it’s best to keep updated with your stylists policies and updates by following their hair pages
