IS YOUR BODY TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING?

Your body often sends subtle signals long before a real problem develops.

Not every ache or pain means illness, but persistent muscle tension, fatigue or discomfort may be a sign that your body needs rest, healthier habits or, in some cases, advice from a healthcare professional.

Pay attention to these commonly overlooked signs:

• tight shoulders and neck, even after resting,

• frequent tension headaches,

• waking up feeling stiff,

• clenching your jaw or grinding your teeth,

• difficulty taking deep, relaxed breaths,

• feeling tired despite a full night's sleep,

• lower back tension after sitting for long periods,

• feeling as though your body is constantly "on alert" and unable to fully relax.

Why does this happen?

During prolonged periods of stress, the body may keep muscles in a constant state of tension. This is a natural protective response that helps us cope with challenges in the short term. However, when it continues for weeks or months, it may contribute to discomfort, reduced mobility and a decline in overall well-being.

How can you support your body?

✔ Prioritise regular rest.

✔ Take care of your sleep quality.

✔ Practise slow, mindful breathing.

✔ Take short breaks throughout your working day.

✔ Stay physically active in a way that suits your body.

✔ Consider

✨MASSAGE ✨ as part of a holistic approach to reducing muscle tension and supporting your overall well-being.

Remember:

Your body doesn't always shout 👉often, it whispers first. The sooner you recognise its signals, the easier it is to restore balance, comfort and long-term well-being.

💜 Aromatherapy Sunday 👉 Lavender

**Why is lavender essential oil one of the most widely used essential oils in the world?**

Lavender essential oil is extracted from the flowers of *Lavandula angustifolia* through steam distillation. On average, it takes around **100–150 kg (220–330 lbs) of fresh lavender flowers** to produce **1 litre of pure essential oil**.

That's one of the reasons why genuine lavender essential oil is so valuable.

# # # What makes it so special?

💜 **It contains more than 100 naturally occurring compounds**, with **linalool** and **linalyl acetate** being the two main components responsible for its distinctive floral aroma.

🌿 **Lavender is one of the most extensively researched essential oils.** Studies suggest that its aroma may help promote relaxation and reduce the feeling of stress in some people, although individual responses may vary.

😴 **It is a popular choice for evening relaxation rituals**, as many people find its gentle fragrance calming before bedtime.

💆 **During massage, lavender essential oil is never applied directly to the skin.** Instead, a few drops are blended with a suitable carrier oil to ensure the treatment is both safe and enjoyable while allowing you to experience its beautiful natural fragrance.

🌸 **Did you know?** Lavender is used not only in spas but also in skincare products, candles, pillow sprays and aromatherapy around the world.

✨ **Are you , or do you prefer citrus, peppermint or eucalyptus? Let me know in the comments!**

Why Doesn't a Hot Massage Candle Burn the Skin?

It's one of the most common questions people ask before trying a candle massage for the first time.

The answer is simple: **a professional massage candle is not the same as a regular candle.**

Traditional candles are usually made from paraffin and burn at much higher temperatures. Massage candles, however, are specially formulated with natural butters and plant-based oils, such as shea butter, coconut oil and soy wax. Because of these ingredients, they melt at a much lower temperature – typically around **40–45°C (104–113°F)**, which feels similar to warm bath water.

After a few minutes of burning, the candle transforms into a warm, silky massage oil. Before applying it to the skin, the massage therapist always checks the temperature to ensure it is comfortable and safe.

The gentle warmth is one of the greatest benefits of this treatment. It helps muscles relax more easily, while the nourishing butters and oils leave the skin feeling soft, hydrated and beautifully smooth.

It isn't the kind of heat that burns your skin – it's a gentle, comforting warmth that wraps the body in relaxation and turns a massage into a truly soothing experience.

✨ Have you ever experienced a hot candle massage, or would you like to try one?
