The dreaded … Smokers Lines

Here’s a treatment we don’t do every day but can make a huge difference to the lower part of our face. A lot of ladies suffer with this and think that as the lines are so small yet deep that there is nothing that can be done.

However, using a combination of advanced techniques we can smooth that area right out giving you a much more youthful lower face /pout 💋

One word WOW. 🥇💉💯 throwback to one of my best ever results from a few years ago. This will forever be one of my favourites!

This lovely lady contacted me as she wanted an assessment. Although this lady admitted to bruising easily she had her heart set on Threads. We decided on a thread lift combined with other treatments including the PYT liquid facelift!

Threads can be minimally invasive especially monos however when having this type (the ones that actually create results) and amount, combined with a substantial amount of dermal filler, bruising and swelling can be quite significant, so it is really important to have at least 2 weeks available without any functions or events so that it gives you time for your swelling and bruising to go down.

As you can see this lady had already started to bruise before her treatment was finished, the truth is, the more threads you have the more swollen and tender it will be and the risk of bruising will also be higher.

If you have threads around your cheek area or close to your mouth, you will feel more pull when you smile or laugh.

You will see immediate results after the treatment but the best results actually happen when new collagen is laid and contracts to create a more natural lift 🙂

This is when the threads start relaxing slightly due to your own body starting to work against dissolving them. Which is how you start to produce collagen.

You can have more threads at any time once the initial swelling has subsided or you can choose to do what this lady has and have it combined with dermal filler.

As said above, These type of threads stay under the skin until they eventually dissolve. The body breaks them down in a way that is extremely safe, like dissolvable sutures placed after surgery.

During a thread lift, the first stages involve pulling the skin up to the place where you want it to be, but the threads aren’t meant to hold it there indefinitely. Instead, they simply define the outline of your new refreshed face and hold it there while the collagen gets to work.

Over the course of the first few weeks after your thread lift; ramped up collagen production will begin re-building the strong matrix of dermal tissue that you had when you were younger. As this happens , the sutures and threads will be expelled naturally and completely replaced by a new strong matrix of natural collagen.
