🩷 THE FACE BEHIND THE BRAND

Hi, I’m Kate 👋🏼
The face behind by.katejohnson.

I’m 35, a mum to four cats 🐈‍⬛ and probably best described as quirky, laid-back, creative & a bit of a homebody.

When I’m not at the salon, you’ll usually find me gaming, getting creative, walking, enjoying the sunshine or hanging out with my cats. ☀️

I studied Photography & Fine Art at university, so creativity has always been a huge part of who I am.

✂️ WHAT I DO

I’ve been barbering for 6+ years and have spent the last year developing my career in beauty too.

I work at the salon Tuesday–Thursday, combining barbering and beauty — including my Wash, Cut & Facial service, bringing a little skin TLC into your haircut.

My facials combine relaxation with results, using professional Million Dollar & ClinicCare products and tailoring treatments to what your skin actually needs.

Dermaplaning is my favourite treatment to perform — I love that instant result! ✨

🌿 WHAT’S NEXT?

I want by.katejohnson to become a space where you can switch off, feel comfortable and have treatments that genuinely have a purpose.

I’m continuing to learn, upskill and bring new treatments and more holistic experiences into the salon, while helping you understand your skin and what you can do at home too.

🏡 LIFE OUTSIDE WORK

I’m also hopefully on my way to buying my first home — something I’ve dreamed about for years. 🥹

One day I’d love to renovate a space and make it completely my own.

For now, I’m taking it one step at a time — learning, creating, working hard and meeting all of you along the way. 🤍
