β¨ Lymphatic Drainage -Before & After β¨
A little look at the progress from one of my lovely clients π€
This client originally came to me 9 weeks post-op,
with receiving an email from her surgeon confirming she was safe to have lymphatic drainage massage.
We initially started with treatments week by week for the first few weeks, supporting her body through the recovery process. As her recovery progressed, we gradually spaced the treatments out , and she is now having her lymphatic drainage once a month, which she finds really beneficial for her overall wellbeing.
π§ Why can lymphatic drainage be beneficial during post-op recovery?
β’ Can help support the body's natural lymphatic flow
β’ May help reduce post-operative swelling and fluid retention
β’ Can support circulation and the movement of excess fluid
β’ Can help with feelings of tightness and heaviness
β’ May help the body process and clear excess fluid following surgery
β’ Can be a relaxing treatment while the body is recovering
β’ Regular treatments can be adapted as your recovery progresses
Every recovery is different, and lymphatic drainage should only be carried out when you have been medically cleared by your surgeon or healthcare professional.
This is one client's journey and everyone's results and recovery will be different.
If you're considering lymphatic drainage following surgery, feel free to message me to chat about your individual circumstances.

Did you know π€........
This video is slightly sped up!
Hereβs a little glimpse of my very lucky partner getting a neck massage ππββοΈ
When your neck is feeling tight, stiff or strained, incorporating gentle neck stretches into a massage can be really beneficial. It can help to:
β¨ Ease tension and tightness
β¨ Improve your neckβs range of movement
β¨ Relax muscles that have become overworked
β¨ Reduce that heavy, stiff feeling
β¨ Promote relaxation and better mobility
We hold so much tension around our neck, shoulders and upper back, especially from sitting at desks, driving, looking down at our phones or even stress.
Thatβs why I love including gentle stretches alongside massage where appropriate, itβs not just about relaxing, itβs about helping your body move and feel better too.
Want to give your neck and shoulders some TLC?
Drop me a message to book your massage.
