What nobody tells you when you train in lashes !!

You’re taught the basics.
You’re taught how to pick up a lash, apply it, isolate and create a set.

But what about actually understanding your client’s eyes?

Not every client is going to suit the same map, curl or styling , and this is something I wish was taught SO much more in depth when I first trained.

Knowing how to identify different eye shapes, work with them and choose a style that actually complements your individual client is what takes you from “I can do lashes” to “I know exactly what I’m doing.”

If you’re a lash tech and you still find yourself thinking:

“Which map should I use?”
“Why doesn’t this set look right?”
“Which style will suit her eyes?”
“Why do my sets all look the same?”
