An Update on Microneedling

When everything else has failed... sometimes the answer isn't removing it, it's blending it. 🤍

These photos show my client's healing journey just 6 days after her first scar camouflage treatment.

For years, she had been trying to improve the appearance of pigmentation changes and scarring on her forehead following melasma and acne. She had invested in multiple treatments including laser, microneedling, CO₂ laser and red light therapy, but unfortunately none gave her the improvement she had hoped for.

Rather than trying to completely remove what couldn't be removed, we changed our approach.

Using a carefully selected blend of scar camouflage pigments, I colour-matched her skin and implanted pigment into the lighter areas to soften the contrast and help them blend more naturally with the surrounding skin.

Because this treatment was on the forehead, we carried out a small test patch first before proceeding, ensuring the pigment healed safely and gave us the confidence to continue.

✨ These images are just 6 days into healing, so the pigment is still settling. The true healed result won't be seen for several more weeks, but already you can see how much less noticeable the lighter patches are becoming.

This is why I love medical and paramedical tattooing. Sometimes it's not about making something disappear—it's about helping it no longer be the first thing someone sees.

Results vary from client to client, and multiple sessions may be required.

I'm so excited to finally tell you that from October I'll be welcoming you to my beautiful new clinic space within EVOLVE Advanced Skin Clinic in Bolton.

Evolve is an award-winning Advanced Body, Skin, Laser & Aesthetics Clinic, and after meeting with Vicky and the incredible team, I knew it was exactly where I wanted to continue the next chapter of my business. The girls there have all been wonderful with me this year and I'm so grateful for the relationship we've already built with Vicky and for them referring clients to me for treatments.

Many of you have followed my journey over the last 10 years, and while saying goodbye to the salon is emotional, this move feels like such a natural progression. It allows me to continue offering the permanent makeup you know and love, whilst expanding further into my clinical and medical tattooing services in a setting that truly reflects where my business is heading.

My own treatment room is currently under construction. I honestly can't wait to welcome you through the doors in October.
