Now that the bees have shifted their focus to the runner bean flowers, I’ve taken the opportunity to harvest the lavender.

We leave them to dry for 2-3 weeks before the whorls are carefully removed from the stalks. These flower heads are then blended with rice (which absorbs the scent and will continue to release it over time) before being packed in to the jute Lavender Pouches which are included in “The Unwind Selection” gift boxes available for Christmas!
