When the future of Sobo Beach was in doubt, the community came together.

Around 10,000 signatures were gathered for the petition to save this much-loved venue, and an 11-month extension to the lease has now been secured.

That's 11 more months of sea views, gatherings, music, laughter, memories and everything that makes Sobo Beach so special. ❤️

And now, we have something wonderful to look forward to…

This December, Magic Moon Crew and Ecstatic Dance Bournemouth are joining forces at Sobo Beach for a very special afternoon and evening of movement, music, wellbeing and connection.

We're bringing two communities together to celebrate the light, the music, the people and a place that means so much to so many.

And perhaps this gathering will be even more meaningful because of what's happened.

With the future beyond the lease extension still uncertain, this could be our last Winter Solstice celebration at Sobo Beach.

We hope it won't be a goodbye. For now, though, we have a reason to celebrate, and we'd love you to be part of it.
