Did I learn loads and have fun at Camp Bestival? Yessss
And I will take that as a win 🏆
Am I still recovering? 😂 A bit
It was so dry, dusty, hot and sunny ☀️ I had lots of people asking me for a lip balm and I wasn’t able to help this time, but I will definitely know next time to go prepared.
I loved everything else Camp Bestival wise and love that every day is a school day in the world of natural skincare 💕
What is your number 1 festival tip?
This time last week it was all to play for 🥰
I was v apprehensive going to as a Trader.
I was very unsure about how organic skincare would go down at a festival 🙈 but it ended up rocking it.
I didn’t see too much of the festival because I did spend a lot of time hanging out in the .co.uk Tent.
We honestly had a blast 🥰 Much discussion regarding the best sellers, best outfit, best lunch, trolley 🛒 gate etc.
This video is trying to show what we all thought of it.
My word for me would be learning and I Iove learning 😊
Can you think of 1 word to describe your day today ?
I’ll start with exhausting 🤣 Any more?
I had a rubbish Thursday at Camp Festival. I had worked 14 hours and only had 1 sale.
I posted my story to Instagram, and what happened next was basically just wonderful.
Everybody in the Makers Market, they rallied round, so I had loads of top tips and advice, and created me this amazing sign.
Did it improve sales? I am not sure. I find it hard to tell because I wonder what sales would have been on the rest of the weekend without the sign. It wasn’t in a test environment.
However, what it did improve massively was my heart and my head. It gave me such a super boost to think that everybody was willing me on to win, and that this super sign had been created just for me. And I loved it.
I love the sign so, so much. I actually saw Merak create the sign, and he did it with such flare, grace and ease.
Thank you .co.uk makers for letting me be part of the Makers Market and for your constant encouragement and support which is amazing 🥰
Thank you and everyone there.
Do you think a sign makes a big difference?

This is what I have learned so far at Camp Bestival
People care: I posted about my 1st day being tough and the number of suggestions and offers of toothpaste I got turned me into an emotional wreck. It was wonderful. Thank you 🙏🏼 especially little ren designs, she is incredible artist and person 🥰 Also LUCANART and South Coast Makers for being my hero’s.
A new environment quickly becomes your world, 4 days in you establish your festival routines when it comes to showers 🚿 best routes to places, best snacks etc
People love real: I want to be calm and professional but ultimately my real scatty and random self comes through. I am not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, let’s leave that to AI. I am most definitely human and will continue showing up.
It is fun to dress up: the insane effort everyone puts into their costumes at Camp Bestival is brilliant to see close up.
We are always learning, every time I speak to anyone about BAO I am learning. I know why I love BAO and the changes I have seen it make to skin is amazing but I definitely need to fine tune the way I present to customers.
Things do get better and attitude is everything. Day 1 I was questioning my life choices, Day 4 I know why I gave Camp Bestival a go.
Time is a roller coaster: One minute you think how am I going to last 5 days and the next minute, it is the last day and you thinking about pack down.
What have I missed? Loads probably
Today is our last day, we are trading in the Lower Kids Field 10-7:30 💪🏼
Let’s do this.

The highs and lows of a small business are real.
Yesterday was a long day, mostly my fault for not dropping off kit and having to walk it back and forward but I do love a walk and it really was epic seeing the site come more alive, each trip backwards and forwards.
And I did have a fab day with fun vibes.
Today we are all here from 10am - 8:30pm
Please also put any top festival sales tips in the comments.
I believe in BAO and natural skincare, I just need everyone else to believe too 🥰

Big weekend for BAO and me.
We are at Camp Bestival with South Coast Makers
I have no clue how we are going to go down but I do love ❤️ being out and about and shouting about BAO.
The added connection is Camp Bestival Dorset takes place in the grounds of Lulworth Castle, near Durdle Door on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, close to where BAO is made.
However, no glass is allowed in site so I have had the quite epic job of decanting BAO into aluminium instead of glass containers.
Not only is BAO great for your skin but it also smells divine 💕 so any smelly campers please come and see me. I also have Natural Deodorant. 💕
Saturday fancy dress is “by the beach” so I will have to find my Victorian pantaloons. Also thank you so much Daisy Bevis 🌼 for my festival outfit
Anyone else at Camp Bestival?
Please come say Hi. I am very nervous.
Then I am here for it 😍
I believe in all these things as much as I believe in BAO.
I have previously done lots of running, including 4 marathons - Bournemouth was brilliant, London (x 2) epic and Berlin the very best.
But I had lost my running mojo. But local, social running clubs including , .gals have inspired me to tie up my laces again.
And when you believe movement is medicine, it is so important to keep at it.
The BAO philosophy is skincare is the whole package, it is exercising, drinking lots of water, eating healthy (.everyday.nourishment) reducing stress and using healthy, natural skincare.
That is where my belief in skincare and health care lies.
What about you? Are you on the same page?

Face oil seems to divide opinion.
Some people swear by it. Others are convinced it will make their skin greasy or cause breakouts.
The truth is, it’s all about understanding what a face oil actually does.
A good face oil doesn’t replace hydration. It helps to lock it in. That’s why the order you apply your skincare matters.
For me, Restorative Face Oil is one of those products that quietly gets on with the job. It is so light and it smells beautiful. It helps skin feel nourished, comfortable and glowing without feeling heavy, and because it’s packed with beautiful botanical oils like pomegranate, baobab, rosehip and jojoba, every ingredient has a purpose.
If your skin is feeling rough, tight, weather-beaten or simply in need of a little extra love, a face oil might be exactly what’s missing from your routine.

🌸 Why Restorative Face Oil has become such a favourite with BAO customers
I’d love to know... are you already a face oil fan, or have you never quite known when to use one?
Plan: Create a BAO ingredients hat
Achieved: A BAO ingredients hat
The idea for my BAO ingredients hat was to be able to talk about each of the ingredients in BAO formulations, allow you to visualise them and also as a great bi product, have some fun.
