Had a good look around and I couldn’t find a single fresh one & the grass below is completely dried out. Just one of the many ways natures feeling the drought

I genuinely thought these were eggs… 😅 nope! They’re spore cases called Sori 🍄‍🟫 Ferns reproduce by releasing spores instead of seeds 🌱 crazy 🤯

Douglas fir tree was an interesting find on my afternoon walk, immature pine cones, needles & pollen can all be enjoyed from this tree 🌲
