Lately I just haven’t had the time or energy to overthink my content.
No big strategy, no perfectly planned reels, no spending hours trying to think of the perfect hook… I’ve just been posting my work, sharing a few before & afters and getting on with it.
And actually, it’s reminded me that sometimes we put SO much pressure on ourselves to constantly “create content” that we forget people followed us for us in the first place.
Our work, Our personality, Our way of doing things.
Of course strategy has its place, but not every post needs to be perfectly thought out.
Sometimes a good before & after is enough.
Sometimes showing up as yourself is enough!
So if you’ve been overthinking what to post lately… maybe this is your reminder to just post it.
If you’re looking to speed up your foiling, sometimes it’s the smallest changes that make the biggest difference
One thing that’s really helped my timings is folding my foils just once.
if you’re putting in 100+ foils and you’re folding every single foil twice, that’s 100+ extra movements you don’t necessarily need. Those few seconds quickly add up over a full head.
I find one good, secure fold is usually all I need to keep my foil in place.
Of course, there are times I’ll double fold if I need that extra security, but I don’t do it automatically with every foil.
It sounds like such a tiny change, but when you’re trying to work more efficiently behind the chair, cutting out unnecessary movements is where you start saving serious time

Another big transformation, another nearly 6 hour appointment, but my aim is always to get as close to perfect as we can in one appointment, prayer for a combination of lifting low and slow and lots of foils, we achieved a fantastic result.

Blonde but make it blended
The perfect blend, there's nothing more satisfying, especially when this was a total colour correction, and we got this amazing blending one session albeit up 6 hour one!
Not gonna lie, I'm bloody proud of this one, this was a huge 6 hour transformation and we covered every inch of the hair, using some techniques from .education but what an amazing result in one appointment

Soft blonde Era using shades EQ
Colour correction, this client had permanent colour on the ends, and highlights on the roots so we needed to correct over lightness at the root and dull dark ends, and lack of dimension, by adding in low lights and brightening when needed, as always were restricted with what we're able to do with colour correction, and the process is a step towards getting that perfect colour!
