A few months ago I refused to treat a patient…

Her request was that she wanted to look completely different to what she saw in the mirror!

She said ‘I’m willing to pay what ever it takes, just make me look different.’

She was absolutely beautiful and a lot younger than someone I would normally treat.

Ethically it was wrong for me to treat her. Her concerns were deeper than a bit of dermal filler.

I 💯 refused to treat her. Instead I listened and with her consent referred her to the GP for support.

She hugged me - hard, and expressed her gratitude for saying NO and not taking her money! 🥲

Aesthetic Treatments should always be ethical and only completed if required.

Do you remember this BEAUTIFUL patient from last year?

Today she came back for some maintenance treatments.

Maintenance is REALLY important.

Ensuring the skin is of a really good quality will increase the longevity of your dermal filler results.

Please do not just rely on Dermal Fillers and Botox - they will NOT regenerate the skin.

Collagen and elastin are two key structural proteins in the dermis that provide strength, firmness, and elasticity to the skin.

This can be regenerated by introducing injectables and treatments including Sunekos, Polynucleotides, Sculptra, SkinPen & a good home skin care regime.
