🌞☀️ Heatwave Hair Notice! ☀️🌞

Hi everyone,

As you’re probably aware, we’re in for some very warm weather this week! 🥵

To help keep the salon as comfortable as possible, I’ll be closing the blinds, having the cooling fan on, and keeping some cold drinks ready for you. Thankfully, the afternoon sun misses the salon, so it usually feels a lot cooler later in the day.

Please feel free to bring along anything that helps you stay comfortable – iced coffee, a mini fan, a paddling pool… well, maybe not the paddling pool! 😂

If you feel the heat might be too much and you’d prefer to rearrange your appointment, just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

As many of you know, I’m a one-woman band and a menopausal lady, so the heat from the hairdryer alone could be enough to finish me off! 🔥😂 If I start looking a little shiny, just pretend it’s a new salon treatment!

We’ll get through it together, one cold drink and fabulous hairstyle at a time. 💇‍♀️✨

I’ll slowly be starting back to work after my operation, mainly because I need to occupy my mind (and let’s be honest, there’s only so much TV one person can watch! 😅).

I just wanted to let you know that I’ll be taking a couple of weeks off work. I recently had an unexpected emergency surgery which was a major operation, and I now need some time to rest, heal, and recover properly.

The operation went well, and I’ll be back to my normal self before long. Thank you so much for your patience, kindness, and understanding during this time — it truly means a lot.

Thank you so much for your continued support throughout the year, it truly means the world to me. I am so blessed to have such amazing clients – honestly, half the time it feels less like work and more like meeting a friend for a coffee and a good catch-up (with a bit of hair magic thrown in ✂️☕).

After years of home box dyes and bleaching, my lovely client was ready for a fresh start — and I absolutely loved creating these gorgeous multi-toned copper shades for her 🍁

We went for a rich, warm blend with loads of shine and movement, and finished it off with a good cut to bring her hair back to life.

Such a fun transformation — and perfect for this time of year! 🍂✂️
