A little personal post from me today ❤️

Many of you will know my daughter Mia, and some of you will know that she has been working part-time at the lovely Liv’s Bakes n Cakes a job she has absolutely loved & will greatly miss. Sadly, the shop is closing, which means Mia is now looking for a new part-time opportunity.

Alongside work, Mia runs her own small dog-walking business, so she’s ideally looking for a part-time role that she can fit around this. She’s hardworking, reliable, great with people and animals, and she’s certainly not afraid of getting stuck in!

Now that she has her own home and all the grown-up bills that come with it 😅, finding another regular part-time position is really important to her.

I know we have so many lovely clients and local business owners following our page, so I thought it was worth putting the feelers out. If anyone knows of a part-time position locally, or knows someone who may be looking for a reliable member of staff, please drop me or Mia a message.

Alongside running Retreat I’ve really loved developing the education and assessing side of my career and working with the next generation of beauty professionals.

With over 30 years’ industry experience, alongside my teaching and assessing qualifications, I’m now looking to connect with salons, academies and training providers who may be interested in collaborating on a flexible, part-time basis.

I’m available for opportunities including:

• Beauty therapy training & practical workshops
• Learner assessments & observations
• Supporting learners through their qualifications
• Short courses and salon-based training
• Freelance/part-time tutoring & assessing support

I’m particularly interested in working collaboratively with established salons or education providers who may need additional training or assessing support.
