Transformation Tuesdays 💫

Doing hair for me is like a canvas. I find it (for the most part) relaxing and takes my mind away.
Biddy came to me originally wanting to be platinum all over.. However during out consultation we realised that all she wanted was it to blend as much as possible to the top of her natural colour.

We tackled yellow tones, orange, dark areas. I used a mixture of baby lights and hand painted to pin point exactly where I wanted the blonde to lie. I made sure to back comb at the root slightly to allow a more softer grow out.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trust biddy had in me to be able to play around with her hair.

*Cut only, colour tbc*

Full restyle for my sister today. Swipe right for the before..

During our consultation Jen explained how she struggles with the maintenance of her hair due to how thick it is and suffering with fibromyalgia. I made sure to take as much weight out as possible as this would help drying/styling.

I used an over directed layering technique to give some movement in the back of her hair and kept it subtle around the front.

We’ve talked through getting her hair back in a better condition by using the right shampoo and conditioner along with some treatments.

Stayed tuned for the final look 💫

Cut and blowdry for my lovely client 💫

One length with soft layering to creative movement finishing with just a round brush blowdry.

Swipe for the before 💫

It’s taken months to persuade my little one to have a fringe shaped back in.. We finally did it!

Due to her cowlick there’s a lot of maintenance to sit in place however she loves it.

Todays client in the salon 💫

Swipe for the before..

First time doing our regular clients hair today using 3 different colours to create something that really compliments her.

We did a t-section today however instead of foiling her parting we worked all the way up from the sides to create a more natural/subtle look when using multiple colours.

Myself and my client were very happy with the final look!

Love a client selfie 💫

“I can see it in you, you love cutting don’t you.”

I’m realising as I progress that I LOVE cutting. Scissors and a comb and you can really transform someone. The confidence and smile that leaves with my client is everything to me.
One of my ladies earlier today said how much she loved her cut, that she went home and “put some colour on as I felt so good”.

This is why I do what I do.

Lifting levels - Halloween 🎃

Okay, so it’s not exactly like the photo shown but you get the idea. I had a full head of foils in yesterday and it got me thinking of the process.

Trust the process.. So many things are taken into consideration when we are lifting your hair.
Some hair types could lift in one go others may take some time. By having a strand test done your stylist will be able to give you an idea of how long it should take.

Below is a number visual of the underlying tones within natural shades. I’ll pop up a more complex photo soon.
