Saving endless formulas convinced this one would be the answer. Spoiler: it wasn’t the formula. It took years of education, trial and error and refining my signature technique to finally understand what creates a truly seamless lived-in blonde and once I did? I used to think the problem was my root tap & toner

But the blend wasn’t being created at this point, It was being created before I place the hair in the foil.

Once I focused on my placement, teasing and saturation, everything changed. The toner simply enhanced the work, it wasn’t creating it.

But i messed up.

My client wanted a bright, creamy blonde and I gave her a golden blonde. Both are beautiful, but it just wasn’t what she asked for.

The reason? I hadn’t allowed myself enough time on the day, which meant I didn’t lift her hair enough.

I’m so grateful she trusted me to get her back in, re-lift those warmer areas and give her the creamy vanilla blonde she originally wanted.

Sometimes Instagram only shows you the beautiful after (like my previous reel) but it doesn’t always show you what happened in between.

And sometimes, getting it right means admitting when you didn’t 🙈I’ve been doing hair for years, but I still get things wrong at times
