6 weeks of progress for Hollys skin ✨

When Holly first came to see me her skin barrier was compromised, inflamed and breaking out consistently. Instead of jumping straight into aggressive treatments, we focused on repairing the skin barrier first because treating acne on a damaged barrier will only make things worse.

Over the last 6 weeks we have:
• Completely changed her skincare routine to barrier-repairing products
• Focused on calming inflammation and strengthening the skin
• Completed one facial treatment so far

You can already see the difference her skin is calmer, less inflamed and beginning to heal.

Now that her skin barrier is healthier, we’re moving into the next phase of her treatment plan:
➡️ A course of acne peels to target the breakouts
➡️ Followed by microneedling to treat the remaining acne scarring and pigmentation

✨ CLIENT SKIN JOURNEY ✨

Before & After

Izzy started her skin journey with me back in December after struggling with breakouts and a damaged skin barrier. When the barrier is compromised, jumping straight into strong acne treatments usually makes things worse. so we focused on repairing the skin first.

Step 1 – Barrier repair
We completely changed her skincare routine and introduced gentle barrier-repairing products to calm inflammation and strengthen the skin.

Step 2 – Barrier repair facials + LED therapy
For the first month we did fortnightly barrier repair facials combined with LED light therapy to reduce inflammation, support healing and help the skin recover.

Step 3 – Slowly introducing actives
Once her barrier was repaired at around 6 weeks, we carefully introduced active ingredients just 3 times per week to start targeting the acne without damaging the skin again.

Step 4 – Acne-focused treatments
After strengthening the skin, we moved onto an acne facial to treat congestion and active breakouts.

Step 5 – Advanced treatment
Izzy has now stared a course of chemical peels and this is after her first peel has healed and these photos show how much calmer, clearer and healthier her skin already looks.

Once she finishes her course of acne peels we’ll be starting microneedling to target and improve any acne scarring left behind.

This is proof that good skin takes a plan, not a quick fix. When we repair the skin properly first, treatments become far more effective and results actually last.
