A bittersweet day as the last of mums pet shop stock has now gone, bringing an amazing chapter to an end.

Mum wants to thank all of our loyal customers for your support over the years. While the pet shop is closing, our dog grooming business continues to thrive. We are so busy that mums books remain closed to new grooming customers, and I couldn’t be prouder of its success.

As my health has improved, I will be taking on a small number of hairdressing clients from home. If you’re interested, please feel free to drop me a message.

Hi all I hope is all well and I just wanted to pop on and give everyone a little life update. Thank you for everyone’s kind messages and get well wishes over the last few months 🩷 I’m recovering really well since having surgery in January.

My beautiful daughter Esme Kirstie Dymond was safely brought into the world via c section on may 7th 10am weighing 6lb 3 ounces 🩷 she is absolutely perfect and we are both home and doing well 🩷

Thank you all for everyone’s continued support over the last 10 years I couldn’t be more grateful 🙏

Some important news from us at Heads & Tails 🐾

After a lot of thought (and many emotional conversations), we’ve made the decision that our shop premises will be closing at the end of July.

This hasn’t been an easy decision.

As many of you know, my daughter has been seriously unwell and has had to step away from the human hairdressing side of the business. Thankfully she is recovering well, and we are so grateful for that. She is also expecting her baby in May, so she wouldn’t have been returning to work after that anyway ❤️

I’m also excited to share that our lovely Carly — who has groomed alongside me for the past 8 years — is expecting her baby too and will be finishing at the end of July to begin her maternity leave.

With these big life changes happening, I’ve spent a long time considering all options — renting space, bringing in new staff, starting again in a different format — but I’ve decided the right move is this:

✨ I will CONTINUE grooming from August
✨ The shop premises will close
✨ I’ll be working from new premises in Lawrence Weston

It will be a more personal, focused setup, and I’ll share more details with those booked in over the summer. If you’d like information sooner, please just drop me a message.

Pet stock will still be available in the shop until July, and I’ll be selling lots of bargains before we close — so keep an eye out!

Hi just an update Georgie is very unwell but ok. She is now out of intensive care but seriously unwell and has a long recovery journey ahead of her after surgery. She had a very rare bacterial infection attack her body and had to have some surgery. Baby is doing well. I think unfortunately she will not be working now in the foreseeable future. I’d like to thank you all for all your support over the years. She now needs to spend time on getting herself better.

Myself , Jack and the kids are excited to announce we are expecting and beautiful baby GIRL in may 2026 🩷 thank you to those who already new and have been patient with me when I’ve been unwell 🩷 I will be leaving to go on mat leave end of April so make sure your all booked in before I leave.
