BEAUTICIAN REQUIRED
Body perfect beauty salon based in Yate shopping centre are looking for a friendly, professional beauty therapist who is qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent to join our team. This employed position with salary and paid holidays and company pension.
The successful candidate should be able to provide a wide range of treatments, whilst also ensuring clients are receiving an exceptional service. The candidate should be able to confidentally perform the following treatments:

Waxing, including Bikini lines,
Lash and brow tinting
Facials and massage
Manicures & Pedicures
gel polish
Builder gel

Requirements:

At least 1 year salon experience, certification in beauty therapy qualification in level 2 & 3 in beauty.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
Excellent communication skills in English
Organised, professional, and attentive to detail in all aspects of work
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required,
Reliable and trustworthy.
Able to work until 8pm Tuesdays and Thursday and Saturdays.

RECEPTIONIST WANTED.
We are looking for a front desk team member with excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, being able to remain calm in stressful situations, answer phone calls, and provide excellent customer service and support. Who will be willing to learn ear piercing.

Salon Receptionist Responsibilities

Welcomes clients on arrival to the salon
Answering phone calls, emails, and social media messages promptly and courteously
Cross sell services
Inform colleagues that their client has arrived and for what salon services
Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about beauty services, schedule and confirm appointments based on availability
Manage the salon appointment schedule efficiently
Contact and manage clients if a staff member is sick and re-arrange an appointment
May have to call clients to remind them of their appointment
Call clients who are late for appointments and see if they are running late or are a no-show
Take payments from clients after their appointment
Check washroom facilities are stocked and clean
Keep reception area clean, tidy, and free from hazards
Properly add clients telephone numbers to salon data base
Keep the retail merchandising stocked
Up-sell salon retail products when taking payments
Prompt clients to book their next appointment
Doing administrative tasks
Keeping the salon clean and tidy at all times
Managing stock and stock checks

Job hours are

Monday to Friday 9.30-2.30
Occasionally you may have to work longer days when the salon gets extremely busy (i.e around Christmas times)

Need to start the week commencing 26th May for 3 days training along side our current receptionist Paula, who is leaving on the 30th May to go and live in sunny Devon.
